How quickly can you get to a repair in Birmingham?

We're based on Bristol Road South in B31, so most of Birmingham is a 20–30 minute run. Repairs booked before midday are usually seen within 48 hours, sooner in a heatwave.

Do you repair units you didn't install?

Yes — the majority of our Birmingham repair work is on systems fitted by other companies, including ones that have gone out of business. We don't need the original paperwork.

My unit was fitted in a flat — can you still work on it?

Usually yes. For Edgbaston and city-centre flats we just need access to the outdoor unit, which may mean arranging a key or a balcony visit with the building manager.

How much is an air conditioning repair callout?

A fixed £95 diagnostic. If we complete the repair on the same visit and the total comes to under £250, the £95 is deducted. You always get a written price before work starts.

Which brands do you repair?

Daikin, Mitsubishi Electric, LG, Samsung, Panasonic, Toshiba, Fujitsu and Hitachi are daily work, including discontinued models.

Do I need an F-Gas registered engineer?

Legally yes — anyone opening a refrigerant circuit must hold an F-Gas qualification. Every CoolAir Midlands engineer does.
